Playful Contact Improvisation Jam
Since July, 2016, thanks to the generosity of Athletic Playground, we offer up to two people per month full scholarships. To apply, you must commit to attending at least three Jams during the one-month scholarship period. Preference is given to people who self-identify as belonging to a group that is underrepresented in contact improvisation.
Applications are accepted at all times on a rolling basis. Scholarships are given for each calendar month. If you apply, you will be emailed a notification one week in advance of each month stating either that you have been given a scholarship, or that you are still on the waiting list. Repeat scholarships are available, but preference is given to first-time recipients and those with fewer repeats. Scholarship status is not disclosed publicly, but is disclosed to the Athletic Playground front desk staff to allow admission.
